PGBI GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Engr. Art A. Lopez, IIEE, Lecturer for “Renewable Energy Trends”

To  eliminate or reduce GHG (greenhouse gas emissions), the lecturer presented renewable energy sources: solar, wind, water, geothermal, biogas, and the different technology requirements.

Ar. Emelito  C. Punsalan, UAP Lecturer for “Zero Energy Building (ZEB)”

The concept of zero energy in buildings is now the new imperative after green buildings. ZEB means the annual net zero energy consumption in buildings through the energy utility agency  grid, through the adherence to higher energy efficiency standards. This reduces demand and the use of renewable energy sources like photovoltaic (PV) panel systems, among others to supply the remaining demand for energy.

Maisson Linsangan, HITACHI  Phils., Department Manager, shared the features of the  various products of the Company.  Among these are the features of the air conditioner with full DC Inverter Technology. The product has not just one or two, but three inverter components: compressor, inverter module, and fan motor. The innovations provide efficient cooling comfort at the least amount of energy consumption.

GREEEN Warriors

Geared for Resiliency & Energy Efficiency for the Environment

FormerSenator Heherson T. Alvarez, currently Chair of the Advisory Council of the Climate ChangeCommission, encouraged the PGBI to continue with the awareness campaign for sustainability. According to Alvarez, he will never tire of making this appeal to remind all of the “moral responsibility to protect Mother Earth and help mitigate carbon emissions.”
