Representatives of the Makati Office of the Building Official actively participated in the seminar that discussed the Green Building Code process, framework and checklists and its inherent calculators; indoor environmental quality; solid waste management, among other relevant topics last February 22-23, 2019 at the Architectural Centre Club.
The participants went through an understanding of the code coverage and the application of the six areas of green building measures on any building project. It also covered the requirements for mechanical and electrical systems which are in compliance to energy efficiency standards prescribed in the PSVARE Standards on energy efficient buildings.
Lecturers were Architect Emelito C. Punsalan, Engineers Ramon D. Aguilos, Florigo Varona, Emie P. Dela Cruz and Emmanuel C. Punsalan.
